1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Cortex, operated by IMEDIATIS TechLab SARL. By accessing our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Cortex is a platform that allows users to create isolated knowledge bases from business documents and expose them to AI agents via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Features and pricing are described on our website and may change over time.
3. Account & Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at legal@imediatis.net. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: — Use the service to store or distribute illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content. — Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data. — Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the service. — Violate applicable laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to terminate access for violations without notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software on cortex.cm are the property of IMEDIATIS TechLab SARL or its licensors. You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMEDIATIS TechLab SARL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for legitimate business or legal reasons. You may cancel your account at any time via the platform or by contacting legal@imediatis.net.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply. Any dispute not resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Douala, Cameroon, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
9. Amendments & Contact
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice on the site at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. For questions: legal@imediatis.net.
